Hi - I'm new to this group (just joined yesterday). I miscarried in June and just found out that I'm pregnant again (only about 4 weeks at this point). Anyways, I don't have tender breasts. I know tenderness is a common symptom so I'm wondering why I don't have it. Could my hormone levels be down? Should I be tested for my hormone levels? I could just be psyching myself out because I'm so nervous about another miscarriage. Any boob insight out there?

" Hi megwink. Congratulations on your new BFP, sorry about your previous loss. I experienced two losses prior to this pregnancy (now 18w4d) and I think you are psyching yourself out!

4weeks is early. At 5 weeks the only symptom I had was a period that was late. The physicians Assistant I see gave me an u/s which showed a sac in the right place and had me take the hcg blood draw two days apart. If the numbers double things are good. I don't remember having the sore boobs until 6-7 weeks. Since then it has come and gone with different levels of intensity.

Try not to freak yourself out too much. Just have faith that your little one is growing okay, do all the right things, and accept that this is out of your hands. I worried and worried and worried until 16w4d... that is 11 weeks of worry, and it sucked.

I think if you had your hcg levels checked over a 72 hour period you will feel better because you will see it is increasing as it should, but it is normal to worry and question everything after experiencing a loss.

Hang in there, it does get better and we are all here to get through it together! "
