Crinone Progesterone gel change colors?

This morning when I woke up and went to the bathroom, I noticed a brownish that came out with leftover Crinone gel that I have been using for progesterone support. I called my RE's office worried because I'm just 7 weeks and wasn't sure what this was about. The nurse called back and said it was normal and that after long use of the gel it can turn dark, from black to even blue. I suppose I should feel better but I don't because you just don't want to see anything different down there when you're pregnat. Anyone else experience this with the Crinone gel?

Eeeewww! black or blue. I was on the gel for a while, but of course I was allergic to it so I switched (for the 4'th time). I had some brownish discharge on my most recent Progesterone suppository and of course I freaked a little too, but it is normal. It stopped pretty quickly. People kept telling me that all kinds of odd things happen to your discharge when you are pregnant. Hoping that it goes away quickly and that you soon move off the progesterone.

I used Crinone gel with my first IVF but I had a very early miscarriage with that one. I did have discharge that was pink and brown while I used that gel. I was also told it was normal. The color had no relation to my miscarriage though so don't worry about that part! Good luck and I hope the color changes go back to normal so you can breathe a bit easier!!

I used Crinione and (sorry for the TMI) it just looked like a yeast infection to me (white), but my RE's office told me that many women have commented on it looking blue and other unusual colors.
