Hi,

I'm curently 30 weeks pregnant and when I went to restroom today sorry for TMI, I saw kind of a big discharge (white) in the toilet, but when I wiped, I didn't see any discharge on my toilet paper. I'm just scared that it could have been my mucus plug but not sure. I called my doctor but he said if you don't have any pain, don't worry. I am worried cause I read so many things about mucus plug and what if it was my mucus plug and not discharge. Please help. Have you experienced a big discharge after 30 weeks? I would appreciate any comments!

Thanks

" And I forgot to mention that I had my high resolution ultrasound yesterday and everything was looking good. My cervix was looking good too but I'm worried today. "

" have you and hubby been busy? i have had several such "blobs" - 1 cause is the day after hubby and i have been busy and the other is that you do loose little bits of your plug all the time and it refreshes. as long as it is not dark in colour, has blood or a bad smell dont stress!
Good luck - not to much further to go - i am 32 weeks and am stressing like a mad thing too :) "

" you can lose your mucus plug several times, it can regenerate so its not a huge deal if you lost part of it "

" hmm, well I get big discharge like that a lot of time.. I have gotten that kind of discharge through out all of my pregnancy's...I never seen my mucus plug though..I think you will be fine, I have read that it can regrow..and that its nothig to be worried about unless you are having pain, bleeding, or contractions. " Thank you ladies for the responds! Makes me feel little better. After losing my twins last time, I go crazy for every single thing. I have an appointment tomorrow to see my OB and I'll ask him again. "

" You may have lost a small part of it but like the others say they do regenerates. I've read that there is A LOT of mucus & you would know for sure if you had lost all of it. I read about one woman who was giving birth & working through her labor by walking around. When she lost her mucus plug it reached all the way to the ground. That's like 3 feet of mucus plug! I know the visual is pretty icky but I thought maybe it would give you a peace of mind. "
