Is it ok to throw your own baby shower? I am not trying to be selfish but with my son's disorder we are going to have alot of medical bills and money will be tight. Should I just throw my own shower? My best friend originally she wanted to throw me one when I first found out I was pregnant but hasn't mentioned it since we found out Castan has issues. I don't want to look greedy.

the way i see it is u n ur precious baby deserve one... ur not being greedy in any way hun... i hope n pray for the best fer u n ur baby... n lots of love n hugs....

I had a friend who threw her own baby shower and it was perfectly fine, no one thought anything negative about it and it was exactly the way she wanted it.
