I am coming up 24 weeks pregnant with my baby girl and have heard things about other people leaking milk and I havn't yet.

I am hoping to breastfeed and it's got me worrying that I won't be able to or if something is wrong with my milk supply.

Has anyone got any advice/experience to offer?
Thanks girls x

" some people never leak, especially first timers, until later in pregnancy. "

" This is my first baby, I'm due today, no sign of baby, and I started leaking around 36 weeks. Don't worry, not everyone leaks like KandJ said. I only dribble a little milk every now and then, it's not constant and I'll actually go a day without leaking it. I'm breastfeeding as well.

" I am 25 weeks today and just last week I leaked a little. But it was when I was applying lotion to my boobs (trying to prevent those stretch marks). I had a little dribble come out on the right side, nothing on the left. Other than that no other leakage, just with the pressure. "

" I've been pregnant twice and didn't leak with either although the first only went to 20 weeks. With both my milk started after the delivery.
I'm breastfeeding now so not leaking during the pregnancy doesn't mean you can't bf. You'll be fine :) "

" I didn't leak at all, not even a drop, then went on to breastfeed for 13 months. The little critter sucked me dry!:) "

" I had two successful pregnancies prior to this and didn't leak before birth with either of them. My first wouldn't breastfeed but it wasn't because of a problem. I produced enough milk but he wouldn't latch on. With my second I only leaked in the beginning and then my body only let down for him (when pumping I really had to focus on thoughts of him to get my body to cooperate!) and I breastfed for 19 months.
I don't know if it will be different with this pregnancy now that I have all that nursing experience behind me! lol

I don't think you should be worried at all.... our bodies know when to start sending the milk out to baby! "

" I didnt leak with my first one...in fact my colostrum, or milk didnt really come in until a week after giving birth...then I started leaking but not a lot. I think I have leaked a little with this one but not enough to make my bra or shirt wet... "
