I have a question for you ladies who know the gender of your baby.
I am wondering if these old wives tales are true?
If your baby has a heartbeat of 160 or above, dull urine color, and morning sickness---is your baby a girl?

Or If your baby has a heartbeat of 160 or below, bright urine, and slime to none morning sickness- is your baby a boy?

You don't have to play if you don't want to, but I am just curious if these are really true. Some say these things mean boy or girl and some say that these are totally wrong?

What do you think?

" I've never heard that you can predict the sex of a baby by your urine colour.
I think that urine should be light coloured. If it's dark then you need to drink more fluids. Mild dehydration that gives you dark coloured urine will put extra stress on your kidneys... "

" I can say that none of the old wives tales were right for me...none of them. I waited until the birth to find out the gender of my baby. I had a little girl, but EVERY single old wives tale was pointing to a boy. You name it, every single one. Not to mention that 99% of people guessing if it would be a boy or girl, guessed boy due to how I was carrying my pregnancy. I can personally say that the old wives tales are completely false. I had absolutely no morning sickness, had a perfect basketball belly, her heartbeat was a "boy" rate. They're all fun, but they're just that fun. "

" Don't believe any of it! It simply varies from one woman to the next, and each pregnancy has the potential to be very different.

Me: baby had HR of about 156 on average; I had NO morning sickness whatsoever, few symptoms, low hanging belly: I had a baby girl

My cousins: lots of morning sickness, belly up high: baby boys

You'll hear wives tales told in different ways from different people! "

" Well I'm having twins so that makes it tougher however both hb's were above 160 so the nurse thought 2 girls. Had the u/s and its a boy and a girl. So the high hb was half right! "

" I haven't found out the gender yet, but I can already tell you that my baby's HB is over 160, I have slight morning sickness, and my urine changes color with my prenatal vitamins. Bright in the morning and dull in the evening! "
