I have a question for you ladies who know the gender of your baby.
I am wondering if these old wives tales are true? If your baby has a heartbeat of 160 or above, dull urine color, and morning sickness---is your baby a girl? Or If your baby has a heartbeat of 160 or below, bright urine, and slime to none morning sickness- is your baby a boy? You don't have to play if you don't want to, but I am just curious if these are really true. Some say these things mean boy or girl and some say that these are totally wrong? What do you think? Nah - all bollocks I reckon.
The ultrasound should give you a good idea at 20 weeks. I had far worse morning sickness with a boy than with a girl :)

My baby girl does have a higher heartbeat, and I had horrible morning sickness, but the color of urine is a silly thing. I definitely think it's just an old wive's tale. My best friend was horribly miserable with her last pregnancy, and she had a boy.

I am having a girl and in the beginning she had the higher heart rate but it has evened out now. I had no morning sickness though. One other thing I have been craving sweets which is unusual for me I am usually a salty snack person.

I'm having a boy and had severe morning sickness until 17 weeks. So bad that I was hospitalized and tore my stomach lining. His heart rate was high in the early months but now at 23 weeks is usually around 140.

I have had no sickness or anything like that, carrying a girl according to our 21 week scan we had.
It's just old wives tales and shouldn't be read too much into them.

I had medium severity morning sickness...i didn't pay attention to my pee cause I was going so much, but the heartbeat was super fast! We found out Monday it's a girl. I think the heart rate one has a little more merit than the others, but still just a myth.
