Does anyone know a good website for nursery ideas. I'm trying to decide how to paint the nursery - just found out we are having a BOY!! We will have dark wood furniture and have not decided on bedding yet. I was thinking of a light blue on top, a white chair rail and navy blue on bottom, but wanted to see what other ideas are out there. Thanks!

I know HGTV has a 'rate my space' site where people send in pics of their baby rooms. They even have a 'highest rated' and "most viewed' icon. I hope this helps...and good luck!

what we did- winnie the pooh (not classic, not modern), bright green walls with different sized blue circles on the wall with the crib. the furniture, shelves, and trim are white.
i would suggest finding your bedding before you paint. lowes has a book on nursery decorating and ideas.

We are having a girl but I can't stand the all pink bedding I have found. so we found some we like and are painting the walls pale aqua and I am going to freehand a tree in chocolate brown. The leaves will be all the colors in the bedding. For a boy, a friend of mind did a blue that was a medium blue shade on the bottom, a thick chocolate brown border painted across the middle, and blue stripes on the top. It was really cute. If you want to see, let me know. I can track down some pics for you.

That sounds nice. We are having a girl and doing much of the ame. Lilac on the top, with a while chair rail, which crown, and plum on the bottom. For my son's room, we did the same, but did a very calming green on top, and a tan on the bottom. I like going more classic, not so babish if u will, so that the room can grow with the child. In ref to the chairrail, I saw on one of those hgtv shows, it was put up high, maybe 2 foot off of the cieling. The CR had a small shelf. It was really unique, but DH wouldn't let me do it. Said it looked silly
