Only a fingertip dilated, I'm 39 weeks and 3 days, and absolutely in agony. Every part of my body is in screaming pain, my knees swelled up, I'm constantly nauseous, have diarrhea, and just want this baby to come. I don't know what to do! I'm due on Sunday, and I don't know how long I can put up with this. I'm not inducible until I dilated more, and I really would hate to have a C-section. I'd hate that more than anything. I don't know. I've been walking till I cry, tried sex, pineapple, spicy food... and still nothing. Still having contractions 10 mins apart and nothing. I just been crying all day. It hurts so bad.

Debbie - I do have a good acupuncturist in Pgh, so if by Sunday you're still on the waiting game, shoot me an email and I'll give you her number.

I defintly feel you!! i am fourty one and a half weeks contracting every ten minutes for the last week but still only one centemeter for the last week as well! thank goodness i am getting induced on monday! i have an hour drive to my hospital due to the fact that i am high risk. My first son (5yrs) i never had one contraction until the night i went into labor, this child(2nd) is so much different!! Good luck to you all!!! happy laboring!

Still no sign of her yet! :( Today I feel better though, I slept from 11:30pm last night to 11:30am today, which of course was interrupted by the many bathroom breaks, and the hubby calling from work to see if I was in labor yet, he's excited too! :) It's nice to get some sleep for once, cause I know sleep will be a distant memory soon, but I'm even looking forward to that! :)
I have been having a very heavy discharge, off-white, and very heavy, but besides that nothing new to report. Keep us in your prayers, I know she'll at least be here in 2 weeks! :D So, that's reassuring, but also kind of annoying, cause 2 more weeks of this would be rough on my body, but SO worth it! :) Debbie
