" eat what you can stomach. THere are lots of healthy soups out there and you could in therory get all you need from them. JUst try to choose wisely and try to avoid high salt soups. Eat soups high in veggies and or meats. YOur baby wont starve he will take anything he needs from you. Your the one that will suffer for a poor diet. AND your body will usually tell you what you need with cravings. SOmetimes you may have to get creative to figure out what your body is telling you like chocolate can sometimes be controlled with brocolli(odd I know) but being diabetic I learned this one really works....

Eating soup is better then not ating at all so eat away "

" yeah in the beginning, its awful. but eating something unhealthy vs nothing.... you GOTTA go with something. It will pass soon though. do you take your vitamins at night? that might help. keep a sprite with you at all times, ESP when you get up in the morning! "

" Yes I remember those days. I had extreme morning sickness and I went through that phase where you do not want anything. My doc told me to eat what I can stomach and who cares how nutritional it is. As long as you can keep something down, that is more important. Don't worry it will go away. I too was to the point that I hated being pregnant, but now at 17 weeks I am much more positive about it. I only get sick a couple days a week. Thats minor to how I was feeling before. So hang in there. Dont let the puking at work effect you. I can tell you stories about puking all over. I was on holiday in Europe when I first started getting sick. I was humiliated numerous times but you will soon get over it and not care anymore. I told everyone I was pregnant with a little monster who makes me sick. lol "

" I totally understand how you feel. I was so sick in my first trimester that I couldn't even keep water down. I agree that if you can stomach a certain food, then go for it. At this point, ANY nutrition is better than nothing!!
Has your doctor suggested a prescription anti-emetic? My MS was so bad that I was given Zofran, which has been my saving grace these past 33 weeks since I'm apparently one of the "lucky ones" that gets to have MS the entire time!! I've been on it since 7 weeks and it's the ONLY reason I was able to function and get any kind of nutrition in my body. "

" I hope this helps, but fresh lemonade is helping me when I am queasy. I never vomit.. i just turn green lol.. I'm about 6 weeks.
Also ginger-anything is a good help to the tummy. Nibble the saltines (low salt if you need) if you can manage it.

Best wishes, it will pass in some more weeks.. hang in there! "

" hang in there hun I know what your going through I was there and it was horrible for me too if you are struggling to eat try eating plain foods like crackerbread and biscuits also because your body won't be getting all the nutrints it needs you should try them thick shakes you buy that are full of good vitmains and stuff. I found that not eating at all made me feel worse so try and eat when you can. I also could only stomach soup but I found leek soup made me feel very ill but I like tomatoe the best but try and vary flavoured soups so you get the best of everything =)
don't worry you will pull through eventually "
