" I misscarried about 5 months ago at 6 weeks pregnant. I just found out i was pregnant again and was terrified as well. Last time we didnt' even make it to our first appt but i had my first appt last week and everything was great. I'm 8 weeks pregnant now and we saw the little heart beat. I will still feel better when i'm out of the first trimester but i already feel so much better just getting a heart beat this time :) I hope this helps "

" I was 12 weeks when I miscarriage with the last pregnancy. This time I found out I was pregnant early. My last period was on May 16th but my cycle was only 24 days. I got the BFP on Monday but I had implantation bleeding on Sunday. I got my first hcg level done on Tuesday. It was 334...I go again on Monday. I'm gonna keep praying. I still don't know a due date or how far a long I am. I have to be at least 4 weeks, I'm guessing or I would have gotten the BFP. When did you guys start sharing the news with the pregnancy after the miscarriage? I'm afraid to tell anyone because of what happened last time! "

" I had a miscarriage in Sept/oct 2007 - and wasn't able to get pregnant again on my own. I was able to with IUI the following October. I am now at 37 weeks, and I am STILL nervous every day! TRY to not worry about every little thing (easier said than done!) check out these groups for support too. GOod luck! "

" I had a m/c in February at just over 4 weeks. I was terrified when I got pregnant this time, but I'm somewhere between 7 1/2 and 8 weeks now (the doctor and I can't agree on when conception occurred!)

Everything looks great so far, we even got to hear the heartbeat yesterday at our appointment. I'm still carrying around some concerns in the back of my mind, but they have decreased a lot over the last few weeks.

Just know that it is possible (and more than common) for women to have a successful pregnancy after a m/c especially if their m/c was their first pregnancy.

Take some deep breaths and concentrate on the good things, like every day that passes and every good report from the doctor. It does get easier as the pregnancy goes on. "

" hopeful,

have you started telling anyone yet? I'm a little nervous about that! Since everyone knew when I miscarried. I think that made it even harder! "

" I had a miscarriage in January after telling absolutely everyone and I am pregnant again and am trying to keep it as quiet as possible... even though its very hard! I have an appointment on the 18th and I keep telling myself not to worry. You can be concerned but if you worry it won't do you any good! Good luck!!! "

" I had a miscarriage in March of last year at 8 weeks pregnant, & took it very hard.
When I got pregnant this time, we decided wait until after 12 weeks to start sharing the news with everyone.
I know how you feel about worrying about every little twinge & ache, but my cousin's wife had a miscarriage 1 months before I did, and got pregnant 6 months later, so she has been a great help, anytime I get paranoid about anything I just e-mail or call her and she tells me if she went through the same thing, plus the ppl on this site have been very helpful :)
Good luck & remember to stay positive! :D "
