Yeast Infection

I have now had a yeast infection for about 4 months. I've had 2 courses of pessaries and use the cream several times a day. When I last went to get my pessaries from the chemist he told me I shouldn't be taking them when pregnant, and although my doc said I can I don't want to now that seed of doubt is there. I've tried yogurt, and stick to cotton underwear. So my question is, is this dangerous for my baby? The constant infection? And will I need a c-section if it's not gone by my due date because I heard it can pass to the baby during labour? Urgh I'm so annoyed with my docs for not sorting this!

" from what i have been told is that the cream medicine has the potential to cause pre term labor although the risk is very very low. my doctor also told me that there is really not majjor risk to the baby if you were to give birth vaginally and still have the yeast infection. the worst case is the baby gets a mild case of thrush (which is a mouth yeast) which is easily treated. i just went through the same thing with my doc, they prescribed a medicine which should not have been taken while oregnant. Also maybe you should get checked for the bacterial type infection as well. That ended up being my case and I got put on an oral medicine that treated in in like 6 days. "
