Still on bed rest

So this week marks 33 weeks of pregnancy, seven weeks on bed rest, the most recent of those here in the hospital. doc says we will plan a c section when I hit 37 weeks. I miss my husband and son soooo much. if I have a clear u/s next week they will let me go home. Yesterday my u/s wasn't good, and he prescribed another week here. I broke down crying right on the table. I have a placenta previa, and he went onto explain how dangerous it is. I know all that, but I still miss my family. I miss getting to plan and shop for our new baby. And frankly, hospitals are just no fun! Thanks for listening...

" It is a very stressful time being in the hospital. I know.. I did it for a week and then I opted to do a c-section just to get to go home. I had the option of staying there until I went into labour naturally. I too missed out on the shopping and planning for our first baby. I couldnt even go shopping to pick out a crib or high chair or bedding set. It was horrible.... but more importantly you are keeping you and your baby safe. That is the most important. I hope you have lots of people to visit you. I am wishing you a healthy baby. Hang in there. "

" I am 32w 2d, and also have a complete placenta previa. I have had 2 minor bleeds, one at 28w and one at 30w. I quit working and was put on modified bedrest. I thankfully was only in l&d for a few hours both times. I feel for you, because I have been afraid of the same thing happening to me!! I have an ultrasoubd next week to check the previa. They say when u bleed it could indicate it moving, so I am praying that is the case. I can't imagine how hard it must be with a little one at home. I pray the rest of the time goes quickly for you. "

" Time is going slowly, as Scarlett might say, like molasses in January! But another u/s is Wednesday, just one more night after this one.

Rara, I just have to say, take it super super easy! I started this ride on modified bed rest, working from home just going to the office once a week for a few hours, not doing much. Then out of the blue, got a huge bleed. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced and we freaked out. I was trailing blood all over the floor. I never want to see that again. The second bleed was all old blood and while not as alarming, was still a large volume. At that point I had been on full bed rest. They don't know why it started. But they won't let me go if it looks like it will be risky. Good luck, I hope this doesn't happen to you!

Thank you all for the well wishes! Sending positive thoughts to you and your babies! "
