Modified Bed Rest

Is anyone else on Modified Bed Rest? I am 12 weeks pregnant and had a bit of bleeding last week. I went to the emerg, then to my OBGYN and he put me on 'house arrest' for two weeks. For those who have been on bed rest, how did you keep busy. I am very lucky and am not sick at all, I am starting to have more energy and feel wonderful, but now I am stuck lying down most of the day. What did you do to stay busy? Thanks in advance for the advice!

" I was hospitalized for several weeks with my first. I was on strict bed rest. It was awful. I read a lot, slept, watched tv.. I was soo bored. I was very glad to be discharged. Even when I went back for my IV antibiotics, they wanted to admit me but I refused since it was Christmas.. No thanks! But listen to your doctor and get as much rest as you can because once that baby comes.. There will be no rest! "

" Thanks Jules! I have been feeling really alone in this. I am so happy to be pregnant, but it is so early on and the end seems so far away. My dr didn't give me exact instructions, so I am playing it by ear. I am learning that I need to take it easier than I would like to (folded some laundry and started spotting again).
Thanks again! It is so nice to hear that someone else had a similar experience. "
