I caught a cold about two weeks ago, got mostly sneezing and running nose. I felt fine other than that. So I did not take any medicine. However, since last Mon, I started to run a fever around 100F starting from late afternoon everyday. Again I did not take any medcine and took last Thurs off. I felt fine on that day, so I went back to work Friday. During the week, I went to see my PCP. I got to confirm that it is not swine flu and my doc did not presecribe me any med because I am pregnant.

Last Friday night after I got back home, I felt really bad, sore throat, tired and high fever. I went to Walmart, got Tylenol and Robitussin, taking them only on needed bases. During last 3 days, I did nothing, but laying on bed and rest.
Till this afternoon, I still have a tempreture around 99F; It comes and goes starting from the late afternoon everyday, only that the tempreture is not as high as before and it did not stay very long.

I don't know what to do. I haven't seen an OB yet. My PCP is not giving me any good advice (I cacalled him once after the visit).

I am wondering if anyone is or has been suffering from flu. Is this part of the recovery process? It has been so long, and I feel scared.

Thank you for your advice!

" You definitely need to call your OB even if you haven't seen him yet. They say tylenol and robitussin is ok... but keep your temp down.... cool shower, drink lots of fluids. Keep taking your vitamins and rest... hope you feel better. "
