This is a great read for any young woman out there considering
adoption as a choice for thier baby...really reassuring! Gently provocative, warm and convincing, this open
adoption guide includes actual letters between adoptive parents and birthparents, and between the latter and the children they have. I would recommend this not only to birthmothers, but probably more strongly to adoptive families as it provides great insight into what the mother of your child is feeling. As a birthmother i think it is really important that adoptive parents remember the feelings of birthmothers and this is the perfect book to help with that. Lets bmum's know that they're not alone even though it often feels like it! Very moving read!
