Hi everyone I know it's been awhile since I've written but alot has been going on with my whole family. But anyways. I know one of the endos biggest concern about being on the lupron injection is gaining weight. But my daughter is losing weight lately. She was 53 lbs. and now she weight 48 lbs. Has anyone ever lost weight with this? We do go see her endo tomm. and I'm going to mention it to her. I'm also going to mention that now she is going to shool she complains of her feet and legs hurting her. Mainly her feet though. Does anyone have either one of these effects? I don't even know if it's from the injection or not. She has been on it now for over a year and she never lost this much weight before now.

When a kid goes through puberty they tend to gain weight - so perhaps her body is leveling out because now she is on lupron? I'd still mention it to your endo...but it may be completely normal. I was on Lupron from the ages of 4-12 (I am now 22). My Mother has told me several stories of times I would complain about my legs and feet bothering me. I don't believe it's associated with the injections though. It may just be the body working things out. Once again, if you're concerned it's always worth mentioning to your endo. :)
