Price of implant/Insurance???

We are getting ready for our 2nd implant this month. However, the insurance company and drug company are battling over the cost. The implant cost 14,000 last year and I was very forunate to not pay a dime. This year...not sure.
Why is there always something else to worry about??? I have talked to the Endo..she is not sure about how long Anna can go after her year is up before things so "working" again. How can the companies argue when a little girl is in need? It just does not make sense! Posted on 09/06/09, 07:09 pm |

Still nothing.
THe insurance said they approved it all. I talked to the rep for 45 minutes and she finally told me she was done. I called the endo...gave her the info. She called the drug rep. GOD...I am a basketcase!! Why all the issues??? She does not have time for all of this!

Anna's implant was inserted in Friday..a day before the year was up. A lot of brusing this time...I guess from removing the old one.
It was one week...battled the insurance company, drug company and my tears. If you go through this...don't stop...KEEP calling and calling and calling!!
