My daughter has had a recurring fever - every three to six weeks for the past 18 months. She was diagnosed w/ PFAPA. This is basically recurring fevers of an unknown origin. In the past week, she has also been diagnosed w/ precocious puberty. I was wondering if any other parents had noticed a recurring fever prior to the precocious puberty diagnosis?

My daughter has never had a recurring fever with precocious puberty. I hope you can figure out where the fever is coming from. Good luck on treatment with CPP ... the implant was a good option for us.

My daughter has recurring fevers over a period of 6 months. In the end we found it was caused by a natural gas leak from a faulty gas heater in our apartment. You should check this to see by calling your local gas company.
