Hi, My name is Elizabeth and my daughter Gianna has just turned 9. She has been on Lupron injections since age 7 (when then her bone age was 11). We have just recieved her last bone age results and that came back as 13. My doctor now wants to add growth hormone therapy along with due to the fact the her window of growth is quickly closing. I am struggling with making the right decision and am hoping for some advice from anyone whose child has had the supprelin implant and growth hormone shots. I am just quite concerned of the side effects there may be from growth hormone. Please if anyone can help me through this it is so appreciated!! thank you!!

It will be a year in Sept for the implant. I have noticed this past month that Anna is acting up again and she has also gotten more hair. We go today for another bone growth xray. I am fearful that she has grown more so what is next. Not sure about the homorone therapy...that might be out next step.
