Hello, I have a 22 month old dd who is currently being moniterd for pp. She has had small breast buds when born and they continued to grow. When she was 9 months old I was sent to the endo...doctor about 3 hours away. They were not to concerned and had me come back when she was 18 months. At that time they noticed a little underarm hair as well as acne. They did a bone scan and it showed 6 months ahead so they decided to see me in 4 months.I went back a week ago and though she grew a little in height, everything else seemed normal. I pointed out that her hair down there was becoming dark but they ruled it to be baby hair. The new bone scan showd a year ahead. So when the doc. called she said we would need to come back in Feb. for more test, mri, pelvic ultrasound.I am just wondering if anyone could give me advice on this subject.Thank You

Hi,
My 4 year old has been dia. with CPP and I think we waited to long to have tests done. Now she has breasts and hair and acne mood swings all of the above. She is also very tall. You should ask your doctor what would it hurt to do these tests now instead of waiting until it's really noticable.Where ever I take my daughter everyonw can not believe that she is only 4.I really don't mind it but I always wonder how it makes my daughter feel. Because I know that she hears other parents talking. You shold ask. If it's one thing I haven't learned is there is NO such thing as dumb questions.

I agree with Trudy, I pushed and pushed for my daughters doctor to refer me and he kept saying she was fine, enough nagging and he finally got me in sooner than later and well my gut was right! Can't hurt if you have a feeling something more is going on with her.

My advise is be a complete pain in the butt... I wish I had caught my daughters prior. we have a 15 year old that is 6 foot so we did not think much until the growth spurt was really crazy 5 inches in 4 1/2 months she is now 4 foot 3 at age 5. The key was the breast development. She was diagnosed with stage 4 right off the bat. The problem we see is that she not is going to lose about a foot in her adult height so right now she is heads above everyone else but we know for sure it won't last so it is so hard to be in the conversations where everyone talks about how tall she is going to be. Also bra shopping is horrible - my advice for when you have to do this is to find a Maidenform store they carry very small ones we had to do this because other parents were talking and asking questions - the good news is be pushy and it will all be under control early on. I can talk anytime if you just need to vent.
