Need to make 1st dr.'s appt...what do I expect?

My name is Moriah, I just joined this group today.
This morning my 7 yo daughter started her period. I took her to a walk-in clinic to be sure that is what it was. The Dr. confirmed and recommended making an appt with a pediatrician (we recently moved to this state) who will then make a recommendation to a pediatric endocrinologist. Before I adopted my daughter (when she was 2) her foster mom suspected precocious puberty due to scant pubic hair growth. She was seen and tested and nothing came of it. She has no more pubic hair now than she did at 2. I am trying to be calm, but I am scared for my daughter! She is so little! What can I expect at her appointment? I assume there will be lots of tests and Xrays for bone growth etc...she is average height (maybe a little tall) and is not growing breasts or developing acne or noticeable body odor...
I think I just need reassurance that things will be OK...
Thanks for listening! Moriah

" They will do a blood test to see about her hormone levels, a bone scan to see about her growth and maybe an MRI to make sure there are not cysts.
We only had the blood and bone...My daughter is 6 and will be 7 in a few weeks. Her bone growth states that she should be 10.5. She is a big girl but there is height in my family. However, when the a hair came, I got worried.

Hope all goes well. "

" I can say we just were diagnosed with CPP, my 5 year old has stage four development within the chest but had not had advances else where so I just kept chaulking it up to baby fat??? however she is not fat. She went to the endo 9/25 and had the hand x-ray completed it showed bone maturity of 9 years. We also had blood tests completed and are to have them back Monday. In the mean time we have a MRI scheduled and have ordered the hormone implants to stop further progression. - I have found the not knowing is the worst and once you can wrap your arms around it I am sure it will be just fine. :) "
