" Celexa and counseling, at 40mg but symptoms still occur but seem to be post-menstrual, we are still working on adjustments and positive thinking tools. Prior to this was prozac with pulse dose 10 days prior to onset of menstruation. "

" Good morning, heading out on the road. I have taken prozac and for many years worked but took two during the ten days prior to my period. Of course I counted the days and knew when I was "out of wack" could confirm that it was PMS squared/PMDD to know that I was not just a "B" .... then once I lost my job and had time to get to know me better, the financial stress, the PMDD seemed to be more than the normal 10 days prior. I sought help through the state, since now uninsured, and started with Celexa, now 40mg. but strangely it seems my symptoms are during and after my period???? well I see the doctor on 3rd of Sept. Also, ativan is helpful in calming my thoughts and feelings.

peace and thank you for your support.

" There is some good information on-line. I am not taking birth control so don't know much about the results, when I was young I did and now just turned 48 and still have symptoms that are not fun. Try what is suggested. I was able to write some thoughts done during PMDD and shared that with my doctor. I do not feel the same feelings or their intensity when my PMDD is "off". I keep trying on the next. "
