Cuz I could swear my hubby does! (I call it Poopy Male Syndrome) I'm serious though, talk about mood swings. He was being poopy this morning for no rational reason. He jokes about how guys want to escape to their garages when their wives are on PMS--well, he made me want to escape to my garden (which I did)!

" i heard that there is a certain time for men that they a little more angry and stuff. but i don't think it's once a month. i'm pretty sure it's only every few months.

but that's just what i heard, i could be wrong. "

" My husband goes out of his mind nuts once every 3 weeks. He becomes a screaming raving irrational whack-job. He just finished his rant-mensuel over the phone this time. I just quietly lay the phone down on a pillow beside me so I can hear a 'hum'. When it stops, I pick up again & say "uh-huh" "okay" & once he begins ranting again, I gently put it down. I have no idea what he says during these crazed monologues but what difference does it make? I just have to wait 3 weeks & I can catch the re-run if I was so inclined. He definitely has a cycle & I can recognize the behaviours leading up to his shift. His eyes lose their depth: hard to explain, but they become like painted wooden discs as opposed to 'real' eyes. His face seems to tense up & there's a simmering 'about to blow' quality to him. Every 3 weeks: you can set your clocks by it. "

" i just looked it up a few days ago because i was worried about my boyfriend. there's a thing called irritable male syndrome. it happens when there is a drop in testosterone. a few things can cause a drop in testosterone such as dietary changes, lack of sleep, stress, sickness, and a few other things. it causes anger, irritability, and crazy emotions. and sometimes there are physical symptoms like back aches and hot flashes.

i noticed a pattern with my boyfriend. it happens about every 3 or 4 months or if he's sick and it lasts about 1-2 weeks. it's been about 6 days this time and i'm hoping he's better soon because it's driving me crazy.

well at least they have a reason and aren't just randomly crazy. haha.

they get angry, we cry a lot.
it was really bad this time because i have pmdd and i just got my period so this time he was all angry, i had bad pmdd. so he's angry and yelling and i'm crying all the time. it wasn't good. but now i have my emotions under control and he's calming down a bit so that's good. 8] "
