" I usually feel like I need to puke for a few days right before my period starts. I just ride it out though. Saltine crackers, sprite and pepto bismol seems to work when it gets way too much to handle. "

" I go for a toasted buttered bagel and a diet coke. I don't know why, it just helps. You shouldn't take naproxen or ibuprofen on an empty stomach, make sure you eat something before you take it, or it will make you hurl then you'll really feel like crap. I've made that mistake. "

" Hi there Kipp I used to suffer horribly with this and used to vomit quite badly on my first day of bleed. If you are able to, I found accupuncture really effective in helping alleviate this and boosting my appetite. If you don't like the thought of needles (trust me they don't really hurt but can feel a bit invasive if you are feeling a bit vulnerable) most accupuncturists will offer an accupressure massage as an alternative. If it's any consolation to you, it did pass eventually but I sympathise as know this is really unpleasant. "
