Is this another example of the mental health professions 'cream of the crop' ??
I can't help but wonder just how many individual clients he was exposed to and practiced on.

We deserve better.

" Anyone that says a woman can't rape a man is ignorant. Do some research, a man can't help it if he gets hard at times, if the nerves are stimulated, it happens.

I am sorry this has happened to you, and yes, you deserve to vent.

My only worry is that someone might read this and not look for a psych or councillour. Yes, people do have horrible experiences, but they also do crossing a crosswalk on a green. (I was ran over.) You always gotta look everywhere in case idiots don't see you crossing, but you still gotta cross the streets.

Keep the defenses up until they have EARNED your trust as they should, but don't stop looking until you find a good one. They are out there! "

" 1 out of 19 sounds about par, I've seen over 30 across the span of my life (I've truly forgotten) since being raped by a social worker when I was 17 and maybe 2 treated me with any degree of human dignity. My problem is if this is such a safe and necessary industry, then why have I been exposed to so many flakes.

Thank you for your persistence, both of you. I can not disagree.
I only pray I have heightened awareness and some people will think twice, especially the younger folk who might not be as knowledgeable.

May I message you Alepunkie or Codee* in the future ?

*why is it the only people willing to care are from Canada somewhere instead of the southeastern US ? "

" Yep you can msg me anytime! I'm on and off during the day so the chat thing isn't too great, but I try to check in through the day for messages!

Heightened awareness is ALWAYS a good thing, especially with the mental health profession.
