Disassociation is a common symptom of PTSD. It is hard to stay focussed and memory is mixed with intrusive thoughts and fear. So how do you keep track or keep a handle of how this disorder changes life day to day.

We lose track and we avoid and fear grips us and month after month goes by. We tell ourselves something that justifies our behavior and say we will improve going forward. ^ months or a year can go by and you look back and it is a total blur.

Knowing how your PTSD changes and effects you daily is important info. It can help you formulate a path and know the degree of the disorder in your life. If you are doing work then keeping track is essential to see if it is working.

I was surprised when I started. It is like looking in a mirror and saying oh I am not really15 pounds over weight. Then you see a photo of yourself. Your mind perceives and then respond with conscious thoughts and words to reinforce your belief. So you convince tyourself that you ae that many pounds lighter.

Spending time everyday healing and keeping a journal is key. When you journal writing things down is powerful and helps you heal and have more confidence in yourself.

Good Luck
