" To me its having flashbacks of things I had forgotten that upset me. I can driving down the road and all of a sudden something will come into my head that I forgot that was a bad memory for me and depending on the circumstance and how I deal with it. Sometimes I cry or just get angry. Its different for everyone but once you experience you will know it. Flashbacks of things forgotten is a big symptom for me. Hope this helps and I know others will help you also. Take care "

" I agree with Susan. Flashbacks are horrible. I think the hardest thing for me is when something brings back feelings from the past. There's no flash of memory just feeling. I usually don't recognize what's going on. If you overeact to a situation, it's a good indication that you are experiencing feelings from the past. I've learned to ask myself what I am feeling and trying to relate it to something in my past.
Hope this helps. hugs... "
