Robbie was @ dr's yesterday - wk 60. He told them he could only do another 6 wks - tx taking it's toll & will run out of short term sick benefits - needs 2 go back 2 work. He was then told that the reason for the extra 6 months was because he went from under to slightly elevated in Jan. (He had stopped the 5 pills/day for about a month but continued injections - No, don't know why - he says neither does he). Dr doesn't know this. Maybe if he had been honest about it he wouldn't have had 2 go longer??? They tested 4 virus 2day and we will find out in Oct. He has been under (& stayed that way) for 6 months. Dr. also called yesterday to tell him to decrease doseage (from 0.5 to 0.3) Is this a good sign??? Dr. just said it "wasn't bad". What does that mean? Just wanted 2 know if anyone has any thoughts or been through it this way and for this long. He is type 3 and a smoker & beer drinker (yeah I know).
