Porphyria effects your small fiber - autonomic nerve system -

It's your nerves that communicate to your brain - mixed signals and short circuits, damaged, nerves sending the wrong signal out.

Autonomic nerves - effecting small fibers - everything that your body does or suppose to do automatically without you telling it to do it!

I think that this site will help you with resources and links, but how others have dealt with similar issues.

There are new topics everyday - a lot of research goes into the Neuropathyteam posts which provides many resources and links. There are a lot of pictures to help you visualize what you're going through too!
