My domestic partner has PCT. He has phlebotomy's about every 2 years ~ it does help alot! The most common problem he seems to have is when he drinks alcohol it really flairs up,

Used to have 4 or 5 done and it would clear up some. Stoped a series of 10 last month because of no results' red blood cell levels too low & they can not do them when your being treated for Hep C. Can not take medication also because of Hep C
