I've been here a long time and I've never seen one either.

I do not know the administrators here. I am glad that this site is open to everyone with free speech. There are other sites like Sclero.org where people are not allowed to discuss their diseases without an administrator changing what was written. People on that site can not give exercise, vitamin, and supplement recommendations.

Be thankful that we have a resource where we can discuss myositis and what each of us really experiences.

Im just trying to figure out how to remove my self from this group without completely deleting my profile is all.

I hope you will stay with us. But if you're really wanting to leave us, go up to the "Edit Membership" under the name of the group. Then you can choose to "Remove me from this support group." Hope you reconsider.

None of us want to be here, because we don't want to be sick, but I can tell you in the almost two years that I have been here, I truly appreciate everyone. No one that I meet outside of this support group including medical personnel know about this invisible disease. This group has helped me make decisions regarding employment and different medications. None of us know or have a reason to question your decision to leave, but I hope that you will stay. I believe that the admin is over the emails that we get that list various topics. I normally delete those emails as they have nothing to do with my disease.

Stace, at the bottom of the post responses is a green words saying report abuse. i think that would get the most attention from Daily Strength. I am sorry about the controversy, we usually are more tactful that that.
I try to give what i know but not in a told you so way. But not everyone can do that. It is the first time i have seen anything like that in my two years here. Give us more time... We are a great group...

StacErek, We are here for you and everyone with myositis.

This is a public website. People will have different opinions on various subjects. Everyone has an opinion from their own point of view. I know with DM/PM we do not feel well. There is some vulnerability to get upset when a healthy person thinks differently on an issue. We can only guard our own feelings at any time. We must be able to agree to disagree with some viewpoints.

Myositis makes us all stronger. I hope you will stay. I enjoy talking with you and the wonderful people on this site.
