" I have personally avoided Interferon. I am being treated in Asia, and they recommond a similar treatment to what I had in California 10+ years ago. My doctor was against Interferon except in certain cases. "

" I am currently on Pegulated Interferon once a week - I feel better on this than anagrelide (anagrelide made me confused and stopped working). The main side affects that I struggle with are the tummy bloating ( I look pregnant) and the pain on my left hand side spleen/rib area. Other than that I do manage to work full time and find drinking loads of water helps. I cannot drink wine or beer I get drunk too easily - like being a teenager again! I would be very interested to hear if any other people are on pegulated interferon. So far the only tip I can give is to wear jackets - they cover the bump nicely. Also to take Asprin when the feet or hands hurt. "
