So i just recently started taking Metformin, and have gotten up to my 2000mg dose. I did not have any of the diarrhea my doctor said i would, Thank goodness! But now its been a month that i have been on it and about a week and a half ago i started having horrible cramps and back pain, and some days when the wave of cramps hit i was also hit with a wave of nausea. The nausea seems to have gone away but i am still having this terrible cramps and lower back pain. I dont know if it is just a side effect or if cysts are rupturing or what is going on...anyone else experience this? Thanks for your help!
