" I'm on Metformin i was taking 500mg 1 pill then i took 2 500mg now today i just started 3 pills of 500mg So i'm now taking 1,500mg a day. It helps with the hair,weight, getting pregnant and basicly getting thing back on track. I have to take this drug for the rest of my life and i am noticing a big difference already. It does work just remember to take it everyday with food. Hopefully here soon i will be pregnant good lucky hope this helps "

" I take the Extended Release Metformin now but I got preggo on 2000mg of Glumetza (which is also an extended release version of metformin) and I took that amount for like 9 months before I finally concieved... I am now taking 1500 mg of regular extended release Metformin and am 16 wks along! I am going to take it through my entire pregnancy! "

" I was taking 1000mg a day for almost a year, then last week i got bumped up to 1500mg. Going up that extra 500mg has made me sick as can be. I dont understand why i was fine on the 1000mg an not the 1500mg.?. I am taking it the same way i was b4. IDK?? "

" I was taking 2000mg Met every day for several months, then my gyno reduced it to 1500mg because it was upsetting my stomach too much. I've been on it for well over a year with absolutely no results. I've been taking it to regulate my cycle in the hopes of getting pregnant, but I haven't gotten my period at all on this. "

" i started with 1000 mg a day now i am on 2000 mg a day and from day that medication got me all sorts of side effects diheria, upset stomache etc... it's been 6 month now but the side effects started reducing now i am trying to get pregnant wish me luck "
