Discharge.. ??

I've been diagnosed with PCOS since I was around age 14, I am now 28. I took birth control pills consistently until I turned 26. I have not been on them for almost two years now. I may have two-three periods a year, which is kind of nice. Lol. About 8-10 months ago I noticed that I would discharge A LOT more than normal. (before this I had a tendency to stay dry and even had to use lots of lube during sex) Sorry if this is tmi.. Just looking for feedback. It doesn't smell bad and is mostly clear with a tinge of yellow or white at times. Somedays it isn't a lot but other days it comes out in globs. Is this normal? Anyone else ever had this? Sometimes it's runny and sometimes it's the consistency of mucus one would cough up. (gross I know). I have to wear a panty liner everyday otherwise it soaks into my panties and then my pants. If it does smell, it has a slight 'vaginal'/urine smell, but nothing rank like an std does. I work in the healthcare and know its not an std. Just wandering if I'm the only one with this symptom...

Hi Adeshotel,
I was diagnosed with PCOS about two years ago. I do suffer from the same discharge issue. I've been wearing pantiliners for almost a year now without a break. But mine smells as well.

I have been wearing pantiliners since i was about 13. i have had consistency changes with it through out my years. im now 23. i have never had any clumps or anything but i have had a lot of the same coloration and so forth with it.
i noticed days that im running around, doing errands, basically when im active i discharge more. i would ask about the clumps though to a doctor just incase. i dont know much about it, but from what i have read its your body making vagina mucus to help keep the bacteria out. im assuming that we just make more of it. but dont quote me. i hope i was of some help to you!

You should also get checked for BV (bacterial vaginosis). It is common with those who have PCOS and have less periods than normal because you are not cleansing monthly like you are supposed to.
A simple visit with your gyno will give you the answers you need!

I asked my doc about it when it first happened to me about 3 years ago (still continues) and she said it was ovulation (as rare as that is for us)...the mucus -like discharge doesn't happen often but the regular discharge does...I agree with the others, go see your GYN just to make sure though.
