Prometrium

Well here I am its been 11 days since I finished my dosage of Provera and no AF. she now wants me to start Prometrium. I have been reading about it online and am not feeling very positive about taking this medication. I have read about the side effects and dont really want to go through all of that. I have a cycle on my own its just not very often I am thinking I should just let nature take its course and not put any drug into my body that may or may not work.

Can anyone tell me about their experience with this medication?

" I started taking prometrium back in February but got pretty bad dizzy spells so my doctor switched me to provera. When I started clomid 4 months ago she switched me back to prometrium b/c it's safer fo the baby if you get pregnant. As long as I take the prometrium at night I don't get dizzy. I haven't really experienced any other side affects from it, so my advice to you would be to go ahead and try it. Everybody is different so you may not have those side affects that other people have experienced. Just give it a try and if it's too much you can come off of it. It can't hurt to try though! Hang in there. You WILL find the right treatment for you! Good luck! "

" Yes I take it to have a period. I take it from day 11 to day 20 and usually don't get my period until about 12 days after I finish the prometrium. I really hope this works for you!! "

" I also took provera.. Didnt work at all for me. Then I was put on prometrium followed by clomid. The prometrium made me a little cranky slightly emotional but nothing really bad and it worked. I was so happy to see it working and then after 3 months i was regular just taking the clomid. Im trying to conceive also. Its pretty rough but hopefully it will happen "
