Here's the deal; I started Provera two weeks ago and started my period a few days thereafter; was has been extremely heavy. (I was passing white globs while urinating and they determined it was excess uterine lining that was passing because I haven't had a period for 3 months. They prescribed Provera to get my period started.) The crazy part is that on the 6th day of the Provera I got extremely nauseous in the morning; nauseous to the point of running to the toilet because I thought I was going to vomit. Never did vomit but got all over chills/hot spells, and the nausea left after about two hours after eating something greasy (which for some reason always helps nausea for me). This has been happening every night since then from about 6:00-7:00 and it has left me absolutely WIPED afterwards! The worst was two nights ago while shopping; I had been nauseous for about an hour and suddenly I got really bloated to the point of having to unbutton my dress pants; it then went from uncomfortable to REALLY nauseous to feeling like I was going to pass out to dizziness to going completely pale to salivating like I was going to throw up. Greasy food has settled the nausea and I have tried to relax to help the nausea pass quicker. (I work a full time job and have a full-time business on the side as well-so my evenings are EXTREMELY busy). I haven't been eating well (due to stress and hormones-totally frustrating) and have absolutely NO clue why I would feel so awful for a short period of time and then have it pass and wake up feeling so-so and definitely not 100%...any suggestions? Any input would be helpful!
I am currently on Metformin (recently started up again after going off it for 6 months or so) which makes me nauseous but not 'violently' so like I have been experiencing recently. I am also Celiac but have not eaten anything with Gluten in it. Posted on 11/06/09, 02:11 pm |
