I have PCOS and I have notice occasionally that I will have nipple soreness and slight cramping, which will lasts for about 2 weeks and then stop..I don't know why this happens and does anyone have this happen to them??? If so what do you do about it? I really think its a hormal imbalance, but not really sure, I'm just really tired of this happening.

Happens all the time, so I'm trying Metformin right now to see if it helps some. Dont worry too much, the changes us women go through can certainly scare you! Have your doc check you for Endometriosis while your at it. The cramping before menstrual is really much worse if you have it or Pmdd(post menstrual dysphoric disorder)a kind of pre-menopausal like symptoms during period yet more like like hell....

This happened to me the one time i have ovulated in the last 4 months. I had slight cramps and nipple soreness for about 2 weeks after i ovulated. It only happened that one month, and hasn't happened any of the other months that I have not ovulated. I'm not sure if that is a coincidence or not, but I just figured that was ovulation pains, hehe. If you're worried about it, though, I would ask your doctor.

I get nipple soreness regularly, sometimes it's so bad that I struggle with bra's and shirts because they hurt me. Unfortunately you can't go through life topless, huh? It usually happens about two weeks before my period, which I suppose is close to ovulation. I'm also not sure what causes it but also wrote it off to hormones...come to think of it, i write almost everything off to hormones. Good luck, you are not alone :-)
