Hi me and my OH have been trying for a baby for over a year now and i'm going to start taking Vitex (Agnus Castus)but i'm worried about if it works and i get pg if it will harm the baby in any way and how much are you ment to take? i'm not one for taking meds and im new to herbal things and i want to give them a shot before the doc puts me on anything else,is any one out there who can give me any advice? Thank you

" my mom is a pharmacyst and when I researched this the only thing it says was to not take it with other meds but herbal stuff isnt really tested like regular meds so I would say just stop taking it once you get pg! Good luck "

" I took it for like 3wks and had a no change just nausea. I went to an herbal store and they told me that once we got pregnant to stop completely. also there is no need to take it once your period begans just start as soon as its over. I wish you the best of luck. :) "

" keep in mind vitex can take up to 6 months to do its thing but it really does work. also look into herbs that can help control blood sugar. as that's what metformin does.

" hi all me again just letting u all know it worked along with other things i took like evening primrose oil, iron and folic acid, im finaly pg im still a lil shocked about it all and praying it all gose well hope all is well with you ladies,
