Gosh where do I start? Forget where it start. My family planning on a cruise trip in December and it making me feel that I dont want to go due to my health because I dont want to hold anyone back from having any good time. I have Pkd. I am vision and hearing impaired. I have hernia in my right groin area. Recently develop frozen shoulder in my left arm and my neck alignment is off big time. After each treatment on my neck I feel like Im having whip lash and in agony. I am taking so much med altough I am on low dose pain med which I request because the med and blindness dont mix,and Ive gotten into many accidents.
I am tryin to think of any way to gain more energy cuz the pain is wearin me out and make me tire. I am finally gaining some weight back on. I just seem to lack ambition and motivation. Every time I push myself forward, I end up feeling worse the next day and down for the count and in so much pain. Any tips or advice? Or anyone who had been on a cruise trip to bahama, this is my first trip. Thanks =) Posted on 07/05/09, 11:07 am |

I would give your physician a call and see if they have any recommendations. I am sorry I can't be more helpful. The trip sounds fantastic and if your doc thinks you can manage it I would say go for it! You also might want to find out if the ship has a doctor on call should you run into any problems. But hopefully the trip will be relaxing and you will be able to just sit back and enjoying some beautiful weather.
Best of luck.

Go out into the street. Look around you, are u the least fortunate in the area?
Believe me, there are some out there who would like to have half of what u have. They are unable to ask fo any opinions like u have just done. Come on, take the ride. Your friends and family want u on board for a reason. You have a right to enjoy life, remember that. Having sais that, Alindi's advice about the doctor on board etc is very sound. Take it, go, enjoy!
