I just got back from spending the day at the hospital with my grandmother. It was the most heartbreaking thing ever. I just kept standing at the end of her bed watching her struggle to breath and moan in pain. I wasn't expecting her to get so much worse so fast.

I just found out a couple hours ago that my grandmother needs to go to hospice. I knew she was sick, but I didn't know she was this bad. Her kidneys are only working 10% now. I WENT TO A PARTY FOR MY SIL, SHE TURNED 40. MOST OF HER GUESTS WERE 40+ IN AGE AND NONE OF THEM HAD "SMALL" CHILDREN AT HOME. Today was the worst day of my life. DH and I woke early to get everything ready for our first OB appointment. We brought the camcorder to get everything from the u/s (best thing we ever did for u/s #1) and a blank DVD for that off chance that they would be able to burn the pics for us. 6 DAYS AGO MY HUSBAND WAS ADMITTED INTO THE HOSPITAL AGAIN. 2 DAYS AGO HE WAS TAKEN TO THE OR FOR ANOTHER SURGERY. 4 MONTHS AND 20 DAYS OF PROGRESS IN THE TOILET. THE BONES IN HIS LEG NEVER HEALED AND WERE BASICALLY DEAD. THIS CAUSED AN INFECTION THAT HAS BEEN LINGERING FOR MONTHS. Hi all,
Tried to write this yesterday, and gave up. I just didn't have the heart to update, but I need to today. I went to the OB yesterday. My cervix is still tight and closed, and no contractions, but my uterus is extremely irritated, so it doesn't appear that the procardia is fully doing it's job.
