Hi I am new to this site.

I had my right lung collapse 5 times, 2 times were major.. had to have a tube put in! the others were at 10-20%. After the last time, I had major surgery to glue my lung to my crest wall. Ever since then I havent had a problem. Do you think it will happpen again, As I get older? I am feel it sometimes when I laugh really hard.. does that happen to you? Thanks in advance!

" I had a full collapes and my hart shifted to the othside of my chest its called a tension pneumothorax, i had vats and talc to stick the lung to the rib cage, it worked but to answer your question there are success rates for different types of plureldisis, i had talc thats the best 95% chance of it not popping again but i do no that some others are as low as 65%, how and what did they use to stick your lung?
i cant imagine you had talc as this is the most painfull and long recoverys mine kills like hell even now 5 months post op, im due to go in and have what they call a macanical one where they scrap the lining of the ling and ruff up the rib cage then it sticks but its only 80% success rate. "
