Don't delay - Can Stroke!

My sweet husband got pneumonia in Nov 06. Was still trying to get over it 5 weeks later when he had a massive stroke. Caused by a blood clot due to pneumonia. Point is, never delay treatment.

He did NOT delay treatment and still developed the clot. He was at dr's office for a follow up on a Friday. The same day he began tripping because his left toe was stubbing. We just didn't recognize the symptoms. By Monday afternoon, he'd been stroking for at least 4 days and has not since had anything on his left side - top to bottom.

He was only 49 years old, very happy, extremely fit with a tight six pack abdomen, and physically active. He is still with me but he will not be described in that manner, ever again.

NEVER DELAY TREATMENT IF YOU SUSPECT PNEUMONIA!
