Hi Guys and Gals,

I am feeling so lonely and down. I live in a country away from my parents and relatives. I usually keep myself excessively busy with work.

I came down with pneumonia 2 weeks ago, but the treatment started only about 5 days ago. I am slowly making progress, but I never had realized before how much lungs were an important part of my body.

I get tired easily so I just try to take it slow and easy. I am not going to work and just try to pass most of the time by sleeping. I only get out of the house to buy food twice a day.

I am feeling so lonely and depressed, I hope I can find someone to talk to on this site.

Take care,

" I hope you are feeling better! Having pneumonia can be very scary and depressing. I know how you feel, but you just can't listen to your head. Just try to distract yourself, put on nice soothing music or an audio book or a movie or something while you're stuck in bed. Movies help me a lot. I just zone out completely, helps me not to panic. Stay in tune with your body, but be careful not to get too paranoid. I was told alot of my pains were more from anxiety than the pneumonia. I'm going on my 2nd week. Hopefully will be better soon! "

" Hello - I also had severe pneumonia earlier this year, I spend nearly a week in hospital and it took about 2 months before I could go back to work. Are you feeling 100% yet? I still feel very tired and wondered if this is unusual "
