I haven't written in awhile.for the last couple weeks I have been trying to adjust to a med change.My Pdoc is taking me off the trileptal.Tonight will be my last dose and then I'm off it.It has been depleting my body of sodium making my sodium levels dangerously low.They increased my other meds though so it hasn't been to hard for me.The only difference I notice is that sometimes it t...

made a whole bunch of calls trying to coordinate my care. for pain management and neuro. the pca review nurse is trying to help me get more hours, primarily so we can get someone to come from further away to help out and afford it. trying to interview for a pca. hope to get a back up person soon then... 2-3 weeks max, thankfully.

now i've another episode where first i was exhausted, then having a hard time with my muscles. then pain. from thursday starting with tired and today recovered enough to use the walker to the kitchen. mostly in 2 rooms now, the tvroom and bedroom. this is really annoying. we hope to see another neuro soon, and a pain management specialist whenever. -

Tuesday I had an appointment with my Pdoc.They increased my meds a little bit.I also found out that my therapist I see between Pdoc visits has left.Now I will be set up with a new one that I will have to get used to.I also got some lab work done that I needed to get done Tuesday.I got the results back this morning and I found out that I have diabetes.That isn't much of a shock.I pretty much k...1 Recommendation

i found out the troubles i was having has from autonomic dysfunction from fibro and and anxiety attack. nothing inherently wrong with the heart. yay!
going for some memory testing to finally find out if i've adhd. also returning to physical therapy now that my ride has recovered from her surgery and renovation appointments for the house.

i tried to work out again, along with the physical therapy exercises and qi gong. nothing huge, just brief rounds spread throughout the day.
then i went for a massage, the first in years (since 2006?). the lady was sick and didn't tell me until it was obvious, when she was coughing all over the place. plus, i asked her to not use scents on me, but unfortunately the place was still reeking in ... -

I'm not feeling very well today.I haven't been for the last 2 days.I've been having trouble with my asthma.I've been keeping up with my meds for it but I've had to use my inhailor more than I should have to.Having asthma attacts wears me out.I have an appointment with my doctor later this month.Maybe I need an adjustment in my meds.I'm not sure.1 Recommendation1 Comment -

So, I ended up in Emerg. yesterday. Went to see my Dr with compliant of abdominal pain(left side), and after waiting almost 2 hrs just to see him, he ends up sending me to Emerg. Thankfully, he called ahead and ordered bloodwork and X-rays. I only had to wait half an hour before they took me in. Had the blood taken and then X-rays, after more waiting. finally found a good herbal ssri that helps me with minimal side effects for depression! it works well for my gf too. now we are both able to deal with life's bumps a bit better and improve communication. hooray!
also found herbs for anxiety & insomnia (bacopa) and to help with immune system (rooibos, african potato,etc) that seem to be working well so far.

When will I feel normal again?
I hurt all over and don't feel like doing anything...and yes, I am taking Cymbalta & Lyrica. I have this pain near my left armpit that never really goes away. Pleurisy Information
Pleurisy, also known as pleuritis, is an inflammation of the pleura, the lining of the pleural cavity surrounding the lungs, which can cause painful respiration and other symptoms. Pleurisy can be generated by a variety of infectious and non-infectious causes.
Symptoms include: Fever, cough, chills, shortness of breathe, weight loss, poor appetite, sharp chest pain with breathing (Pain can limit the movement on the side of the chest with pleurisy. The pain can also be in the back around where the lungs are.), rapid shallow breaths, inability to take a deep breath, itching in sites on the back (near the site of the lungs, but no visible rashes).
