Pleurisy Support Group

I have freak swellings at times that seem to follow surges of adrenalin. After giving birth.. and then nursing, my right eye swelled inside.. unveaitus and Retinitus. I almost lost my vision... steroids saved me.

Following some very dramatic medical crisis.. I developed what sounds to me, like pleurisy. I can't breath in the morning. If I do, its intense sharp dreadful pain. I have to breath soft ans shallow for a few hours sitting up. I am having a hell time getting help from docs since m y stuff confuses them, but I am going to ask about steroids.... nothing else is working and if he gives them to me, I am totally going to take them. I just think the smallest amount that will help, is the best route.

Sorry to hear about your pain! I haven't been put on Pred for pleurisy, I was on it for Ulcerative Colitis and it was awful :( I only consider Pred as a last option, when nothing else will work. It's definitely my least favorite treatment option of those I've tried so far!
