Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I was just diagnosed with Pleurisy yesterday, 3/14/09 after spending almost 6 hrs in the er to rule out a heart attack...that's how much pain I've been in. I am taking Ibprofen at 800mg's 3X's a day along with two narcotic pain relievers and nausea medicine. It helps curb the pain a little, however, for the most part I am on the couch or in bed trying to do as little as possible!

Pleurisy is a pita, ain't it? I hope your condition has approved since you were first diagnosed and you're now able to get off the couch n out of bed!
