" Hi I am going to have this procedure within the next several months. I have one eye lid that has drooped over time (I am 46 years old) Please go to a ocular plastic surgeon over just a plastic surgeon. I saw on PS and to OPS's one OPS said he had to do both eyes even though only one needed it - I got two second opinions - and one PS and one OPS said only the one lid needed to be done. The difference is the OPS specialized in eyelid surgery- all she does so she has much much more experience and showed me tons of her before and after pics which were remarkable - the PS said sure he could do it - but he does tons of other procedures too so he is not a specialist. I was told is is all done by tightening the muscle under the eye so no scars ! Good luck to you :) "
