i had a full face c02 laser procedure done in aug 2007. she literally tore my face up. i have been seeing a dermatologist for over a year to help get my skin to heal and to soften the scarring. i am scheduled for a skin graft on monday to repair my lower eyelid that is drooping due to the procedure. my occularplastic (sp) surgeon believes she(the plastic surgeon) went too deep on me. anyone out there had similar botched laser treatment or a skin graft under the eye? i am very nervous that the skin graft will not heal and i will have another year like the last one. help!

Hi, sorry to hear about your problem. I was thinking of having CO2 laser also, But, the more I thought about the long recovery and the white pigmentation you get from it, I just decided I didn't feel comfortable to do it.
Did you do alot of research on the plastic surgeon you used. A good plastic surgeon should be able to do that procedure with no problems. I've never had a skin graft ever. But, if that is what they are planning to do, they must know what they are doing this time. Or they wouldn't have suggested it. But, for heaven sakes, make sure you really check this person out before doing anything else. Good luck to you. I'm sure you will be able to get some satisfying results from this.
